When
Dawn Brancheau was 9-years-old, she went to Sea World for the first time and she was hooked from then on, she wanted to become a Animal Trainer when she grew up. "It was her dream job, and our family got to ride along with her in her dream." Said Diane Gross, her older sister. On wednesday, Feburary 24th, 2010, Brancheau died due to the whale she loved and so very much cared for named Tillikum. Tillikum grabbed her ponytail with his mouth and dragged her underwater in front of stunned onlookers. The Orange County medical examiner said that she must of died from "multiple traumatic injuries and drowning." She loved the animals like they were her own children, she went to work every day, she loved what she did." said her sister Diane Gross once again.she was one of the six children to work at SeaWorld, she worked there for 17 years said one of the SeaWorld spokesmen, Leigh Andres, "She was one of our most experienced killer whales trainers."
"loved her whales, she loved her family, and she will be dearly missed, she was a wonderful sister and daughter to many pieces and nephews. She also left behind her husband, Scott Brancheau." said Diane Gross. Also there been reports about Tillikum that he had killed 2 people in 1990 and in 1991, but the truth is that the trainer in 1991, at sea land marine, was only injured and not killed. The other death in 1991, that the guy broke in the park at night and took a dip in the whale's pool and tried swimming with Tillikum but died of hypothermia. The Sea world parks were closed due to the accident death of Dawn, they are going to make it safer for the animals, guests, and the trainers.

I think it's cruel to have animals in parks, but at the same time its amazing to see how the animals are like, I think Tillikum should be realesed into the ocean instead of saying since everyone is afraid of him, but yet again, it could even be dangerous then to so I'm not even sure for myself what to say what to do with him. I felt bad about the death because it was her life dream to be an animal trainer and to be with whales,  but has been killed because Tillikum's tank was to small before the show... which it's not a good idea to keep them in small tanks because killer whakes can be very dangerous once they get really mad.

2. what do you think about animals being in tanks or in pens instead of being in the wild?
